What we build to
The marketing site and the dashboard aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA. In practice that means:
- Every page has one
h1, a logical heading order, a skip-to-content link, andheader, nav, mainandfooterlandmarks. - Every image has a text alternative; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
- The demo video has closed captions and a written transcript on the page.
- All controls are reachable and operable with the keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against the dark background; small print is never below that.
- Tables have captions and header cells; form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
- Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Pages declare their language, including the Spanish and Portuguese versions.
How we test
Every build runs an automated check for missing alt text, unlabeled controls, unnamed links and buttons, heading jumps, duplicate ids and missing captions. We also check the main flows (sign-up, creating an export, downloading a file) with keyboard only and with a screen reader before releases.
Known limits
- The dashboard’s live status updates are announced as the table refreshes rather than row by row.
- The CSV download is a file; screen-reader users will want a spreadsheet application to read it.
- Third-party pages we link to (Apollo.io, Google sign-in) have their own accessibility properties.
Tell us
If anything on apolloexporter.com or in the dashboard is hard to use with assistive technology, email support@apolloexporter.com with the page and what happened. Accessibility reports are treated as bugs and fixed in the next release.
